The importance of soaps and detergents cannot be over emphasized. They are the human societies’ essential necessities as cleaning and washing are the daily routines in the civilized societies. In India, as well as in most other countries the manufacture and consumption of  synthetic detergents is being favored to make available valuable vegetable oils for human consumption. However the use of synthetic detergents yield a number of hazards to the environment and human health. To ease out these problems we have derived a new class of cleaning and cleansing detergents based on renewable source of raw materials. One such replacement is our liquid detergent based on sulphonated methyl esters of palm oil. These type of detergents are the preferred alternative natural replacement as a detergent that is environmentally friendly.
